The tea makes it easier for the body to process sugar. It is thought it works by stopping fat cells from releasing inflammatory chemicals which attract more fat causing them to grow in size. The claims are that three cups of the tea can help you stay trim even whilst continuing to eat junk food. I'm not entirely convinced but then I don't like green tea so it would take a lot to convince me to drink it.
