A 14 month old boy has baffled doctors by developing fish scales. it is thought the boy suffers from a rare genetic condition which means his body is unable to cool itself. He began developing the scales within a couple of days of his birth. As he is unable to sweat or lose heat through his skin, instead it peals away in scales. Unfortunately there is no known cure for the condition.
